Academic Requirements
In order to apply for the Nordic Master programme in Environmental Engineering (eNviro5Tech), you must fulfill a number of requirements.
The requirements apply to all applicants for the programme regardless of study track.
Degree Requirements:
- A BSc degree corresponding to a minimum 180 ECTS credits in:
- Civil or Environmental Engineering or other relevant degree
- Mathematics: 20 ECTS, including linear algebra, calculus and differential equations.
- Physics: 10 ECTS.
- Applicants with a Polytechnic (FI), H\\xc3\\xb6gskoleingeni\\xc3\\xb6r (SE) and Diplomingeni\\xc3\\xb8r (DK) degree may be expected to do extra course work to qualify for the programme.
In addition, a background in chemistry (a minimum of 5 ECTS) is required
English language requirements:
When applying for admission, you must provide evidence of your academic achievements and proficiency in English. Certified photocopies of relevant documents must be enclosed with the application.
- TOEFL: Paper-based: 580 (written section grade 4,5), Computer-based test: 237 (essay writing grade 4,5), Internet-based test: 92 (written section grade 22)
- IELTS: 6.5, no section lower than 5.5 (only IELTS Academic Training accepted).
- Cambridge Advanced English: 180
Documentation of an undergraduate degree or documentation of citizenship from one of the following countries: Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Great Britain, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland, and USA. Please note that applicants with an undergraduate degree from any other country must submit a language test
Only for Nordic citizens: Documentation from upper secondary school/ high school that the English at high school level is comparable with the English B - level in Denmark (please refer to the Skema til omregning af fagniveauer for nordiske eksaminer which can be found here).
