Program Overview

[\\'The first module examines various perspectives on strategy, providing a platform for the courses to follow. The aim of the course is to provide you with a comprehensive and current knowledge on strategy in organisations.\\', \\'The second module will allow you to develop a profound understanding of organisational life from an individual point of view, using a social identity perspective. Through creative assignments and stimulating discussions we will approach issues of commitment and collaboration, manipulation and conflict, gender and ethics, and much more, hence preparing you to meet and handle the challenges of modern organizations.\\', \\'The third module attends to the present trend towards "projectification" in both business and public organisations. This calls for in-depth knowledge of the nature of projects and how to manage particular projects, as well as a portfolio of projects, in an organisation. You will deal with established planning and organising techniques, examine the relationship between projects as well as between the project and the surrounding organisation, and critically reflect upon the role of projects in wider society.\\', \\'In the fourth module, you participate in a real-life strategic planning process, ultimately culminating in them acting as management consultants and composing a strategic plan on behalf of their designated organisation. This requires you to act based on the knowledge that you have developed during the semester, as well as in previous studies. Moreover, you will be required to develop a rapport with the "client" company in order to attain a clear idea of the business and its undertakings.\\']
