Academic Requirements
- Personal statement, official transcripts, writing sample, and three letters of recommendation.
- GRE General and writing sample (in French) for MA/PHD; MAT does not require test results or writing sample, but does require 2 courses taken with the Rutgers World Languages Institute Summer Program.
- In the personal statement M.A./Ph.D. applicants are requested to describe their academic background and intellectual interests and to specify potential areas and problems for graduate-level research.
