Selection process
Upper second class (2.1) honours degree or higher or equivalent from a recognised University or higher education institution in any of the following subject areas:
Social Sciences, Behavioural Sciences (Psychology), Geography, Population Sciences, Demography, Medicine, Basic/Applied Sciences, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Sciences, Nursing and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Statistics/Mathematical Sciences, Law, Management, Information Technology, Web Sciences or Engineering Sciences
Each MSc Global Health application will be considered on individual merits. Candidates who fail to meet minimum entry requirements but who have relevant professional experience may still apply and will be assessed by the Admission Team. Where applicable, the global health masters programme team may consider a telephone or Skype interview before offering admission to the study programme.International students
Competency in English language is essential for this masters in global health. You should have an IELTS or equivalent score of at least 6.5 overall, with at least 6.0 in each component. Students who do not have a degree from a British University, or who are from a country that is not on the list of those exempt from testing, will be required to present evidence of IELTS score or equivalent.We recommend that international students apply for MSc Global Health at least 2 months before the start of the programme starts to ensure that they are able meet our requirements and are able to apply for a visa in time.
