Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

Requirements:
Baccalaureate or equivalent, complete and acceptable academic transcripts ("good standing"); GRE score ( Verbal and Quantitative ); GPA (of last two baccalaureate years) of at least 3.00 on a 4-point system. Departmental approval, consisting of the collective appraisal of members of the Italian Division submitted for appropriate action to the Chair of the Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics. Foreign nationals must pass the TOEFL English language test with a minimum score of 550; GPA and GRE requirements are not waived for them.
The GRE Examination:
All applicants must submit official GRE scores ( Verbal and Quantitative ). Please note that the GRE score is one element of your application and the program views the entire file holistically in making a determination of admission.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
