The UB Graduate School requires a baccalaureate degree or its equivalent for admission. Applicants should also demonstrate aptitude in the physical sciences and mathematics, as evidenced by their undergraduate transcripts. The General Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores and three letters of recommendation are required for admission. GRE scores in the 50th percentile or higher are desirable. The Chemistry GRE subject test is strongly encouraged but not required.
