Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
To be accepted to study on the MA Novel Writing, we are particularly looking for writing promise, ambition and dedication. We normally require a good honours degree, or equivalent qualification, in an appropriate subject, e.g. Creative Writing or English. However, we also welcome applications from candidates with good honours degrees in other subjects (a novelist has to have something to write about!) or individuals with a minimum of three years\' work experience. Those without formal qualifications will need to demonstrate relevant writing experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level. All applicants are required to submit 2,000 words of recently written work as part of their application.\xc2\xa0
