Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Lower Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- A lower second (2:2) honours degree or above in nursing
- Be working as a registered nurse or are a registered nurse with recent nursing experience (within one year)
- For the MSc Nursing Studies (advanced practice), be nursing at an advanced level of nursing practice
- Hold an acceptable recognisable professional qualification in the UK In exceptional circumstances, students who do not have a degree but who have successfully completed Level 7 CPD modules or who can provide evidence of their ability to pursue successfully postgraduate-level study may also be considered

UK/EU students are eligible to apply for this course but must have current experience of working within the UK health service.
