Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Applicants must have completed a clinical year (PGY-1) before admission to the residency program. The clinical year must have been completed with a program accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Your experience must have included 11 months of direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- International graduates must also have either a current valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates or a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a US licensing jurisdiction in which they are training.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6 or equivalent.
