Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3.2 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Current NJ registered nurse licensure; Resume; BSN and MSN and/or DNP in nursing from a nationally accredited program with at least a 3.2 GPA (where A = 4.0); Official transcripts of all previous college work; Personal Statement; undergraduate descriptive/inferential statistics course & physical assessment course; Two letters of reference from graduate prepared nurses or academicians; Two scholarly papers of which the applicant is sole author (may be a published article, book chapter, or a paper completed for coursework); Must have current emergency nursing experience consisting of a minimum of 1000 hours within the past three years. - Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) is recommended. Completed application form & fee. An interview with faculty may be required. GRE testing is not required for this program.TEST REQUIREMENTS
International applicants must submit an official transcript review by WES. Official TOEFL or IELTS scores required of all applicants whose undergraduate education was completed in a non-English speaking country even if degrees are held from the U.S. or other English-speaking country.PERSONAL STATEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
