Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: 3.61

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3.61 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

High School Graduation/Equivalency
  • Applicants may satisfy the high school graduation requirement by submitting the California Certificate of Proficiency, the General Educational Development (GED) certificate or equivalent certificates awarded by other states.
Out-of-state/Non-resident students
  • The eligibility index requirements for out-of-state, non-resident students are higher than for California residents. For non-resident students, a GPA of 3.61 or higher qualifies with any test score. A 2.45 is the minimum regular admission GPA.
