Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
The admission process to the online M.S. program is competitive. There is a limit to the number of students admitted each semester. Students admitted in Fall 2015 typically had a GPA well in excess of 3.0 with an average of 4.3 years experience in the sport industry.
Only COMPLETE applications will be reviewed. A COMPLETE application includes:
- Apply Texas application
- Transcripts from all institutions of higher education that applicants have attended
- Three letters of recommendation (at least one must be from a previous professor who can attest to your academic abilities) Note: If a significant amount of time has lapsed since receiving your undergraduate degree and you are unable to contact a professor, you may take the GRE in lieu of the professor letter of recommendation.
- Although not required, a candidate may use GRE scores to enhance the application.
- Statement of Purpose (please explain how a M.S. in Sport Management from Texas A&M will help you reach your career goals, as well as why you want to complete this degree online)
- Your current resume
