Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements for admission to the Master of Science in Taxation online program. Admission is selective and based on a combination of factors including academic and professional achievement, performance on a standardized test, strong communication skills and a proven record of effective leadership.

- Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework \xc2\x96 Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution.
- Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT, taken within the past five years). A GRE score may be substituted for a GMAT.
- An applicant may be exempt from the GMAT requirement if any of the following apply:
- Applicant has a terminal degree (PhD, PharmD, JD, MD, DBA)
- Applicant holds a current and active CPA license
- Applicant holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati (within the past two years), and graduated with a cumulative University GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Two letters of recommendation
