Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.85 in the last 60 units of\xc2\xa0their B.A. degree work and satisfy the University requirements for Graduate\xc2\xa0Admission. Students who have GPAs below 3.0 will be required to take the\xc2\xa0GRE and achieve at least one\xc2\xa0score at the 50th percentile or higher. A satisfactory\xc2\xa0GRE score must be submitted within 18 months of admission.
