- Power, Institutions and Economies:\xa0examines how workplaces, schools, the government, police, prisons, marriage, and the home are all institutional positions that shape experience, proscribe behavior, or exclude non-normative bodies and people.
- Narrative, Culture and Representation:\xa0offers rich opportunities for students to partake in discussions of race, gender, sexuality, class, ethnicity, religion, and dis/ability through engaging cultural texts and production from both historical and contemporary perspectives.

TSE required for international students if English is not native language. TSE score of 60 required to qualify for GA funding. GRE optional for students with 3.0 undergraduate GPA or higher.
