The Associate of Applied Science in Digital Film at SAE Institute is a 19-month program designed to prepare students for careers in film and video production. The curriculum provides hands-on training across all stages of filmmaking—pre-production, production, and post-production—using industry-standard tools and techniques. Core study areas include storytelling, camera and lighting techniques, production design, editing, and sound production.
Graduates are equipped for entry-level roles such as Production Assistant, Assistant Director, Production Designer, Camera Operator, and Location Manager. This program is available at SAE Institute’s Atlanta campus.
