About
The Joint Nordic Master Programme in Environmental Law (NOMPEL) is a collaborative two-year master's program offered by three leading Nordic universities: Uppsala University (Sweden), the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) in Joensuu, and the Arctic University of Norway (UiT) in Tromsø. This program provides comprehensive knowledge of environmental law at international, EU, and Nordic levels.
Program Structure:
- Duration: 2 years (120 ECTS credits)
- Language of Instruction: English
- Study Locations: Students spend one semester at each partner university:
- 1st Semester: Uppsala University
- 2nd Semester: University of Eastern Finland
- 3rd Semester: Arctic University of Norway
- 4th Semester: Master's thesis, with no obligation to stay at a specific location
