Financial Aids

VIVES University of Applied Sciences offers various financial aid options to support students during their studies. Here's an overview of the available financial assistance:

1. Scholarships:

For detailed information on tuition fees and scholarship eligibility, please refer to VIVES's official tuition fees page.

2. Financial Aid for Non-EEA Students:

Non-EEA students are generally not eligible for financial aid from STUVO (Student Services) unless they meet specific nationality requirements analogous to the legislation on study grants. Detailed conditions can be found on the Centen voor Studenten website. Eligible students can make an appointment with the social service for financial support. For inquiries, contact stuvo@vives.be

3. External Scholarships:

While VIVES does not offer its own scholarships to international students, external funding opportunities are available:

4. Blocked Bank Account Procedure:

For non-EEA students, VIVES recommends the blocked bank account procedure to demonstrate sufficient means of subsistence, a requirement for obtaining a student visa. This involves depositing a sum covering living expenses into a frozen account managed by the institution. Detailed information is available on VIVES's application procedure page.
