Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Minimum criteria:
- GMAT score of 600 or higher
- Three letters of reference
- Prerequisite coursework totaling 33 semester hours primarily in accounting but also economics, statistics, and finance
While we encourage our students to meet the minimum criteria, failure to meet one may be offset by strengths in other areas, as determined by the Chair and Director. Waiver of the GMAT is at the discretion of the Director of Accounting Graduate Studies. A waiver normally requires either an earned graduate degree in another field, or six years of relevant work experience with strong letters of reference. Successful passing of all four parts of the Uniform CPA Exam is also a consideration for a waiver to the GMAT.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
