Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
You should be 18 years or over at the start of the programme and hold an equivalent to:
- A degree (lower second class or higher) in any accounting or finance-related discipline; OR
- ACCA holding exam passes or exemptions from Papers F1-F9
- ICAEW holding exemptions or exam passes from the Professional stage
- CIMA holding exemptions or exam passes from the Managerial stage
Be a fully qualified accountant from a recognised institution, or passed finalist, in which case the student would be eligible to join the programme at the final stage of the programme (60 credits).
If you wish to take advantage of the dual nature of the programme and sit the external ACCA Professional Level exams, you will need to:1. Register with ACCA before applying to BPP University.
2. Have passed or received exemptions from ACCA Papers F1-F9
3. Enter for the relevant examinations and pay all exam and associated fees to the ACCA
English language
- Evidence that you have been instructed and assessed predominantly in English for a significant part of your educational career; or
- IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.5 in any subcomponent. If you obtain a score of 6.5 overall with 6.0 in any of the subcomponents you will have to attend In-Sessional Study Skills Support classes alongside the programme during the first term of studies at no additional cost; or
- Evidence of an equivalent result in an appropriate English language examination
