Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
- a bachelor\xc2\x92s degree from an institution that is accredited by its regional accrediting association. Review transcript submitting guidelines before applying.
- either a cumulative baccalaureate grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale or a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the latter half of your baccalaureate
- to meet departmental admissions criteria
You must demonstrate competency in the foundations of accounting, economics, business law, management, operations management, marketing, and finance. Applicable undergraduate course work may be used to demonstrate these competencies, or you may be asked to complete some or all of a series of foundation courses in these subject areas. Usually, a student who has an undergraduate degree in business with a major or concentration in accounting will have sufficient background to start the program.
Other factors considered in the admission decision include your previous academic records, your score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), your potential leadership qualities, and other relevant information.
