- Compulsory courses (15 EC): Orientation in Biology and Environmental Sciences, Advanced Adaptation Physiology, Microbiology of Wetland Ecosystems, Molecular Physiology of Plant Stress Adaptation, Quantitative Conservation Biology.

Admission requirements for students with a Dutch university Bachelor\'s diploma
In order to get admission to the Masters in Biology, youll need a completed Bachelors degree in Biology or a related field of science.
Admission requirements for students with a Bachelors degree from a Dutch University College or University of Applied Sciences (HBO)
Its possible to start with this Masters specialisation after a completed HBO Bachelors degree, with a relevant minor or pre-Masters. The most relevant Bachelors degree is:
- Laboratory assistant training (all specialisations)

- Follow a minor or pre-Masters (30 EC) for your specific Masters programme during or after your HBO study programme.
Admission requirements for international students
Entering the Masters specialisation in Adaptive Organisms requires a Bachelors degree in Biology or a related field of science.
An international degree has to be equivalent to a Dutch university diploma. The Examination Board will determine if an international student has the required knowledge to be admitted, and if the student is required to follow specific courses from the Bachelor\'s programme to eliminate possible deficiencies.

- An IELTS score of >=6.5
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with a mark of C or higher
