Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Available places will be offered to qualified applicants based on merit, according to the following admissions criteria.
Admission to the degree requires:
- a bachelors degree with a minimum credit average from the University of Sydney in government, law, social work or other appropriate discipline as determined by the Faculty, or an equivalent qualification; or
- a bachelors degree from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification; and the applicant provides evidence of professional experience or of a period of service (normally of several years in duration) which in the opinion of the Dean adequately prepares the applicant to undertake the course of study.
English language requirements
IELTS: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band TOEFL paper-based: A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing TOEFL IBT: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
English Proficiency: IELTS 7 or equivalent.
