Academic Requirements

Requirements for international students are slightly different than ones for U.S. students. (Students who want to major in dance or theatre must complete additional requirementsas well.)

That\xc2\x92s why we evaluate each student\xc2\x92s transcript\xc2\x97a list of courses taken and grades received\xc2\x97individually. No matter what you have studied, though, we expect you to have experienced a challenging university preparatory curriculum.

All transcripts should be original documents submitted directly from your school to Fordham University\'s Office of Undergraduate Admission. Copies must be certified by the school or an EducationUSA center. If the transcript is in a foreign language, please provide an English language translation of the document with your application.

If applicable, please provide any national testing results (for example, GCSE, CAPE, or ICSE results, or projected results for IB, A levels, etc.)

All students, whether native English speakers or not, are required to submit SAT or ACT with Writing scores. Besides being used as part of our decision-making process, test scores are used to determine your eligibility for Fordham\xc2\x92s merit scholarships. Early Action applicants must take the SAT or ACT no later than October. Regular Decision applicants must take the SAT or ACT no later than January.
