Entry requirements
  • A UK bachelors degree (2:1 or above) normally in a related field and a professional qualification such as nurse, counselling psychologist, clinical psychologist, occupational therapist, doctor, or social worker. Psychological Well-being Practitioners (PWPs) are welcome to apply. or;
  • A UK bachelors degree (2:1 or above) normally in Psychology or health related subject plus some experience of working with people suffering from depression and anxiety. Experience consists of voluntary work or paid employment (part- time equivalent). Students should have been assessing or treating patients for not less than 6 months via face-to-face or telephone contact. You will be asked to write a statement in your application form, detailing your experience. At interview you will be required to bring evidence of your experience in a portfolio of Knowledge, Skills and Applications.
We welcome international students who have the equivalent of a UK first degree (2:1 or above) in Psychology or related field and substantial experience of working with people suffering from depression and anxiety. Substantial experience consists of voluntary work or paid employment.
