Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: Lower Second Class

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Lower Second Class on the UK Honour scale. MSc qualification:

You will need at least a UK 2.2 Honours degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Metallurgical Engineering, Biomaterials and Chemistry (a 2.1 is needed).

English language

If English is not your first language, you will need to take and meet minimum requirements for the following recognised English language qualifications: IELTS (6.5 with no sub-test under 5.5); Internet based TOEFL: speaking - 20, reading - 20, writing - 20, listening - 20, overall 90.
