Academic Requirements
- Entry requirements:When assessing an application for taught postgraduate study, the School of Health Sciences will normally consider applicants who hold a good first degree with at least a second class honours, or an equivalent qualification and evidence of relevant persona
- Other requirements:Because of the intensity of study, particularly the research component, applicants for the full-time programme must hold a first or second class honours degree in nursing or other relevant topic. Applicants for the part-time programme will usually hold a Bachelors degree, or qualifications and experience deemed to be equivalent.
- All applicants must be qualified nurses, usually with a minimum of two years experience in nursing practice.
- There is no specific quota for international students and each application is assessed on merit.
- International students will be required to have occupational health clearance, supply a declaration of good character and health form certified by their current employer and undertake governance training in order to undertake insight/observational visits. Please note if vaccinations are required, these will be at the students own expense
- IELTS:6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in any element)
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic:62 (minimum 55)
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
