Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Evidence of personal attributes that are suitable for the profession of social work
  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better for the last sixty (60) semester hours or ninety (90) quarter hours of coursework
  • Experience in human services (paid, volunteer, research and/or internship)
  • Twenty hours of\xc2\xa0social and behavioral sciences, humanities, and biological sciences
  • GRE is\xc2\xa0not\xc2\xa0required
