Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
Access to this master\'s degree is open to holders of an official bachelor\'s degree from a Spanish university or from another higher education institution within or outside the European Higher Education Area, provided this gives access to postgraduate studies in the country of issue.
Admission requirements
The admission requirements are as follows:
Degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Genetics, Microbiology, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Physics, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy or Medicine, including those obtained for studies undertaken in other countries.
Official certificate of English at level B1 of the Council of Europe\'s Common European Framework for Languages. If this certificate is not available the coordinator will give an English level test.
Selection criteria
Should the number of applicants be higher than that of places on offer, these will be allocated according to the following criteria:
Academic transcript: up to 5 points.
Previous studies of Biochemistry, MolecularBiology and Biomedicine: up to 3 points.
Professional or research experience: up to 2 points.
Complementary training
Graduates in Computer Studies, Chemistry or Physics may need to take and pass certain bridging courses.
The Master\'s committee will examine candidates\' previous studies and decide which bridging courses are required.
Graduates in Physics and Computer Studies will need to take a maximum of 21 ECTS credits in bridging courses selected from the following subjects belonging to the Bachelor\'s Degrees in Biochemistry of Biotechnology:
Biochemistry, 6 ECTS
MolecularBiology, 6 ECTS
Recombinant DNA Technology, 3 ECTS
Basic Instrumental Techniques, 3 ECTS
Advanced Instrumental Techniques, 3 ECTS
Chemistry graduates who have not taken MolecularBiology as part of their degree need to take up to a maximum of 9 ECTS through the following subjects belonging to the Bachelor\'s Degrees in Biochemistry of Biotechnology:
MolecularBiology, 6 ECTS
Recombinant DNA Technology, 3 ECTS
