Academic Requirements

As a rule, admission is possible for each winter semester. In individual cases, admission to the M.A. programme can be granted for the summer semester.
Applicants can address the Programme Coordinator Prof. Dr. Gabriele Sommer.

In case you have not completed the B.A. programme Afrikanische Sprachen, Literaturen und Kunst at Bayreuth University, it is recommended to submit the following documents via email:

a) Letter of application explaining purpose, motivation and experience, and the research areas or topics you intend to pursue within the programme.
b) full transcript of academic records including BA diploma/certificate
c) copy of BA thesis

d) full curriculum vitae
