Academic Requirements
- Each applicant must prepare and submit a statement indicating why he or she is\ninterested in studying agricultural and food law in the United States, describing ways in which\npast education and experience have prepared the applicant for advanced agricultural law\nstudies, and describing the type of position the applicant hopes to assume upon completion of\nthese studies.
- A current resume or curricular vitae.
- A completed Application for Admission for International Students.
- Evidence of receipt of the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree, the Juris Doctor\n(J.D.) degree, or a comparable degree from an accredited law school or law department.
- Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, even if a degree was not\nreceived. Transcripts must be sent from the institution directly to the Director of the Graduate\nProgram, and must bear the official seal of the institution, be signed by the Registrar or his\ndelegate, and be notarized or authenticated by a local office. An English translation must be\nappended and similarly sealed, signed and notarized or authenticated. Transcripts not received\ndirectly from a college or university cannot be accepted.
