Admission Requirements

If you have completed a Bachelor’s degree or are enrolled in the final semester of a Bachelor’s programme you are eligible to apply for the Master’s programme in Agricultural Development.

Regardless of what university you are enrolled at, you can - if you meet the language requirements - apply on the basis of a Bachelor’s degree that grants direct access or another relevant Bachelor’s degree.

If you hold one of the degrees from the University of Copenhagen, other Danish or international universities listed below, you are considered to meet all admission requirements and have direct access to apply to the Master’s programme in Agricultural Development.

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Global Nutrition and Health from UCC & Metropol may also be admitted if their programme includes the following:

  • Elective course, Internship and BA thesis with an orientation towards natural science and development perspectives.

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Environmental Science, Rural Development, Anthropology and other BSc graduates from the University of Copenhagen or other Danish or international universities may also be admitted if their programme includes the following:

  • 60 ECTS credits natural science or resource economics course modules and in addition: Thesis or project work with Agricultural Development orientation.

In addition, you may be admitted, if you after an individual assessment,
are deemed to possess educational/academic qualifications equivalent to the
requirements listed above.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
