Academic Requirements
- A relevant BSc degree with appropriate course work, or its equivalent, in another relevant discipline from a recognised university. The choice of elective courses in the MSc programme may be limited by the need to adapt the programme to the current knowledge of the candidate. The committee will compare the HBO programme of the candidate with the BSc-LS&T programme. The admission process may include an interview with the Board of Admissions.
- Fluency in Dutch
- Copy of English proficiency certificate evidenced by appropriate language test. This requirement does not apply if you have: completed your education in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand or Australia, or have an International Baccalaureate.
- Students who have a BSc in Life Science & Technology from Leiden University are directly admissible.
- Applicants with a higher professional education (HBO) degree in a related field of science will be considered for admission. The choice of elective courses in the MSc programme may be limited by the need to adapt the programme to the current knowledge of the candidate. The committee will compare the HBO programme of the candidate with the LS&T BSc programme. The admission process may include an interview with the Board of Admissions.
