Admission Requirements
If you have completed a Bachelors degree or are enrolled in the final semester of a Bachelors programme you are eligible to apply for the Masters programme in Agriculture.
Regardless of what university you are enrolled at, you can - if you meet the language requirements - apply on the basis of a Bachelors degree that grants direct access or another relevant Bachelors Degree.
Bachelors degrees that grant direct access
If you hold one of the degrees listed below, you are considered to meet all admission requirements and have direct access to apply to the Masters programme in Agriculture. Learn about when and how to apply.
- BSc in Natural Resources with specialisation in Plant Science from the University of Copenhagen (reserved access*)
- BSc in Natural Resources, Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Science, Agrobiology or Environmental Science from the University of Copenhagen, other Danish, Nordic or international university
- BSc in Agricultural and Environmental Management from Danish Business Academies
* If your Bachelors degree grants reserved access, you are guaranteed a place on the Masters programme if you apply before the application deadline during the first application period after you complete your Bachelors degree.
Other Bachelors degrees
If you have a Bachelors degree other than those listed above, you must submit additional documentation along with your application so the University can evaluate whether or not you meet the admission requirements.Learn about when and how to apply.
Applicants with a Bachelors Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Geography or similar from the University of Copenhagen, other Danish, Nordic or international universities may be admitted if the programme includes two of the following three areas:
- Biology or ecology (min. 7.5 ECTS credits)
- Natural resources (min. 7.5 ECTS credits)
- Economy or regulation (min. 7.5 ECTS credits)
In addition, you may be admitted, if you after an individual assessment,
are deemed to possess educational/academic qualifications equivalent to the
requirements listed above.
