- Data acquisition, statistical analysis and parameter estimation for sensor and other geospatial data
- Dynamic interactive visualization, communication and use of geospatial information
- Spatial analysis, geostatistics and spatial computing in the context of modern ITC technologies
- GIS and geodatabases, applications and real-world project examples, ESRI product family and open source
- Out-/indoor navigation and mobile GIS technologies and developments
- Algorithms, software development, and programming for geodata management and processing
Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelors Degree or any other university degree at least equivalent to that in a field appropriate to the profile of the Masters Course having a course scope of at least 180 credits
- In the case of applicants from abroad, a conversion to the German system of marking will be undertaken in accordance with the Central Office for Foreign Education
- A training profile, to be reviewed in the course of the aptitude test as in §6, which is to be evaluated on the basis of the complete set of grades from the previous course of study and professional career and the establishing of above-average performances in said course of study, i.e. an ECTS rating of at least B or an overall grade of 2.3 or better
English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
