Academic Requirements

The Master of Science degree program is open to students with a bachelor\'s degree in engineering or in other mathematics-based sciences in exceptional cases. Admission to this program is contingent upon admission to the Wayne State Graduate School. The GPA requirement for regular admission to to the M.S. program is a 3.0 or above. Qualified admission (2.50-3.0) is possible if an applicant has significant professional experience. There are no other specific admission requirements, however, letters of recommendation, statement of objectives, and Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are encouraged to aid the admission evaluation process.

English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
