Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
In addition to the admission requirements of the Graduate School, the\xc2\xa0Department of\xc2\xa0Anthropology requires:
A. A bachelor\xc2\x92s degree from an accredited college with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B) in all undergraduate coursework and 3.25 (3.0=B) in the major field of concentration;
B. Results of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test;
C. Test of English as a Foreign Language for non-native speakers of English, with a minimum score of 550 (paper), 220 (computer based), or 90 (iBT).
D. Acceptance by the Department of Anthropology and the Graduate School.\xc2\xa0
