Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Lower Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).
Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
Applicants are normally students who have completed:
- At least a 2.2 Honours degree in a relevant subject area (e.g. accounting or finance); or
- Fundamentals Level (Knowledge and Skills) of the ACCA professional examinations; or
- Completion of the Operational and Managerial levels of CIMA examinations; or
- the equivalent professional accountancy qualifications of an overseas accountancy body.
- We welcome qualifications from around the world. English language qualifications for international students: IELTS score of 6.5.
- The Fast track route is available for fully qualified CCAB accountants (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or CIMA). Other accountancy bodies will be considered on an individual basis.
- Successful applicants will study two taught modules and complete a dissertation or business report.
- Applicants may be required to attend for interview by the Course Director or Admissions Tutor.
