Application Requirements
- This entrance examination is for those with a Student residence status, if the applicant has foreign nationality. Those with other residence statuses are not eligible to apply for the entrance examination. However, those who will be changing their residence status to Student prior to enrollment may apply. Those with Japanese nationality are eligible to apply for the examination as well.
- Education : Applicants must fulfill one of the following qualifications:
- The applicant has graduated, or is expected to graduate by September 30, 2015, from a Japanese university.
- The applicant has completed, or is expected to complete by September 30, 2015, 16 years of formal study in a foreign country.
- The applicant is at least 22 years of age as of September 30, 2015, and is recognized as possessing academic abilities equivalent to those of university graduates, by passing the Preliminary Examination of Applicants Qualifications conducted by the Osaka University.
- In the Qualifications for Application mentioned above, those who fall under (3) must have taken the
- Preliminary Examination of Applicants Qualification by the application period. Such students must consult the International Student Affairs Section at the Student Affairs Division (referred to as ISAS hereinafter) two months prior to the Entrance Examination date. The ISAS will announce details concerning the documents required for this procedure. Applicants will be informed of the result as soon as they are available.
- Language ability: Applicants must have a good command of English. Those whose formal education has been conducted in a language other than English must submit a certificate of English proficiency. Acceptable certificatesinclude TOEFL, TOEIC, and IELTS official test scores.
- Health: Applicants must be mentally and physically fit, and free of infectious diseases.
