Admission Requirements
- A bachelor\xc2\x92s degree from an accredited institution with a background in linguistics and a major in TESOL, English, a foreign language, linguistics, reading or other related area.
- Proficiency in English including reading, writing, and speaking.
- 12 semester hours of foreign language study or the equivalent.
- A letter of recommendation from a college instructor and an interview with the graduate program director.
- If the student\xc2\x92s background shows deficiencies in foreign language study or linguistics, admission will be conditional until deficiencies are made up by taking some undergraduate courses without graduate credit, as specified by the adviser.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
