Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
To be considered for admission to a Master\xc2\x92s program, a student will normally hold a four year degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited university with a minimum 75% (mid-B) average over the last two years of full-time undergraduate study.
You will need to submit your transcripts as well as the following program-specific materials:- Three references are required.
- A Statement of Research Interest: No more than two pages in length, in which applicants indicate their career aspirations/plans, specific research interests, and experience relevant to their interests. A potential thesis supervisor must have been contacted and he/ she must be identified in the statement of intent.
- Acceptance into the program requires that a faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences agrees to supervise the student\xc2\x92s research program. Prospective students must contact potential supervisors in the Department of Biological Sciences. The potential thesis supervisor should be identified in the statement of research interest.
