Admission Requirements

Academic Requirements

Our Master\'s degree programmes are open to students holding a Bachelor\'s or equivalent degree. Applicants must have a good command of the English language.

For application process, the applicant needs to submit the following documents:

  • Complete Application form - online in Masaryk University Information System
  • Faculty application form
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Certified copy of Bachelor\'s diploma
  • Certified copy of Final transcript
  • Statement of purpose
  • English language certificate
  • All application materials must be in English.

    Evaluation criteria

    The decision on admission is made by the Dean of the faculty upon a submission from the Admission Commission for foreign studies which will recommend admission if the following conditions are met:

  • Documented language competence. Admission to the programme is conditional upon passing the TOEFL exam scoring the minimum of 550 points (paper-based test), or 213 points (computer-based test), or 79 points (internet-based test), or upon obtaining other internationally recognized certificate (e.g. CAE, IELTS, CPE) scoring results equivalent to the TOEFL exam.
  • Previous study results. Transcript of the results, confirmed by the home university, will be attached to the application for admission.
  • Data provided in the CV. CV will be attached to the application for admission.
  • Data provided in the cover letter. Cover letter will be attached to the application for admission.
  • Please, note well, that due to limited capacity, applicants with prior education in related study-fields are usually given priority.

    English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
