Academic Requirements
To apply, you must be a medically qualified doctor.
You then need to be accepted by a host clinical department or laboratory, where you can carry out your research, and by the programme director.
The research project you carry out will be largely determined by the skills and expertise of the group you join. There is no need to put a great deal of detail in the research proposal section on the generic university application form.
