Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
A\xc3\x82\xc2\xa02:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in architecture. We prefer this to be recognised by the\xc3\x82\xc2\xa0Architects Registration Board (ARB)as successful completion of the\xc3\x82\xc2\xa0Royal Institute of British Architects\xc3\x82\xc2\xa0(RIBA) Part I. \xc3\x82\xc2\xa0
If your university/programme of study is\xc3\x82\xc2\xa0not recognised by the RIBA, you may wish to apply to one of our other design courses alongside the MArch:
- Experimental Architecture MSc
- Architecture, Planning and Landscape (Design) MA
- Sustainable Buildings and Environments MSc
You will need to submit a\xc3\x82\xc2\xa0portfolio\xc3\x82\xc2\xa0and may need to attend an\xc3\x82\xc2\xa0interview.
We will also consider applicants on an individual basis with a lower or non-accredited qualification providing they submit a strong portfolio and evidence of personal development. We prefer you to have successfully completed a year in professional training.
