- an\nundergraduate degree in art education and teacher certificate or\nprofessional teaching license; \n
- a\ncumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale; \n
- a\nminimum of two years of teaching experience preferred; \n
- three\noriginal letters of recommendation; \n
- 10-12\ncolor images of personal artwork ; \n
- a\nstatement of purpose of approximately 250 words indicating intent and\nproposed area of specialization within art studio and capstone project\n(studio project track or graduate thesis track); \n
- a\npersonal interview with the Program Director and the Graduate Program\nCommittee in the Department of Art may be required. \n
