• Apply online using the DePaul Application.
• APPLICATION & AUDITION FEES: The DePaul University application fee is $25 (credit or debit card) an is paid when completing the online application. The Theatre School\xc2\x92s audition fee is $50 (credit or debit card) and is separate from the application fee. The audition fee must be paid when making your audition reservation to confirm your appointment.
• OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS: Have an official copy of your academic transcript from every undergraduate college or university you have attended mailed to The Theatre School Admissions Office.
• LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION: Request three letters of recommendation from individuals who are familiar with your desire to attend The Theatre School. You must use the online recommendation tool through the DePaul Application.
• PHOTOGRAPH: A photograph is required for identification purposes. Any photograph is acceptable provided it looks like you. A professional headshot is not required. Please bring your photo with you to your audition.
• RESUME: Submit a resume listing your theatrical experience and/or any related experience (employment, internships, activities, etc.). You must upload your resume when submitting the online DePaul Application.
• TEST RESULTS: The GRE is NOT required for admissions consideration.

International:

• EDUCATIONAL CREDENTIALS: In addition to your application, DePaul University requires you to submit your official educational credentials (transcripts, mark sheets, degree certificates) and evaluation fee directly to one of three evaluation companies.
• PROOF OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE COMPETENCY: All international students must submit proof of English proficiency.
• SCHEDULE YOUR AUDITION OR INTERVIEW: Applicants to all BFA majors and to the MFA Acting program must also schedule an audition or interview on our Audition and Interview page.
