Program Overview

By studying physics, you will explore the fundamental nature between matter, space and time, and the related concepts of energy and force. The descriptive power of physics ranges from the quantum realm of atoms and particle physics, to relativity and the cosmic evolution of the Universe. The course will introduce you to these new concepts which are central to our understanding of Nature. Topics ranging from relativity to quantum mechanics and electrodynamics are connected together in a three-year programme in which you will be slowly introduced to the challenges in understanding the world around us. Simultaneously, you will also be trained in a number of real-world applications related to technological revolutions currently taking place. By the end of the course, you will be able to demonstrate your knowledge by carrying out a research-based dissertation. The department encourages you to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme for a diverse academic journey.
