Course Structure
- [\'2 years/4 semesters\', \'120 ECTS are granted for the whole programme\', \'interdisciplinary focus\', \'historical and current political, economic and cultural developments in the Baltic Sea Region\', \'national and international cooperation in and among the countries of the region\', "the region\'s perspectives in the context of European regionalisation and globalisation", \'trandferable skills for the working life\', \'The modules cover fields in Contemporary History, International Relations, Nationalism Studies, Human Geography, Cultural Studies. In the thesis a student can concentrate on one or several of these.\', \'qualifying students for interdisciplinary scholarly work and research\', \'qualifying students for intercultural communication and co-operation within a European framework\', \'the imparting of knowledge on both the historical and the current political, economic and cultural conditions of the Baltic Sea Region in regard to the regionalization of Europe, and globalization\', \'the imparting of knowledge on the changing patterns of national and international co-operation among the states surrounding the Baltic Sea\', \'the imparting of knowledge on political, economic and other forms of co-operation as well as on the region?s future perspectives.\', \'1st semester (home university): core studies (interdisciplinary introductory course and methodology studies)\', \'2nd (home university): studies according to individual study plan and specialisation\', \'3rd semester (partner university or home university): studies according to individual study plan and specialisation\', \'4th semester (home university): thesis and other studies\']

Academic Requirements
- A three-year Bachelor, Master or equivalent diploma in a relevant Humanities or Social Sciences subject, or Human Geography.
- The degree has to be completed before July 15th, 2016.
English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
