Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
A three-year Bachelor degree (minimum credit average) completed in English from a country where English is the official language and which meets NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) requirements for teaching in a primary school, or a valid IELTS. Please refer to the School of Education for application procedures and course information.
Students who have studied overseas may be required to meet additional requirements set by the NSW Education Standards Authority in order to qualify as teachers in NSW.
Special Admission Requirements
Applicants must apply to the School of Education for an assessment of their undergraduate degree eligibility before 30 June. The assessment must be submitted with the postgraduate coursework application form before 31 October.English Proficiency: IELTS 7.5 or equivalent.
