Application to a Master\'s degree programme

1. Admission Prerequisites

As a formal prerequisite to be eligible for admission to a Master\'s degree programme you need to have a Bachelor\'s degree from ETH Zurich or an equivalent first academic degree from an internationally recognised university.

With regard to content the prerequisites are described in the requirement profile of each Master\'s degree programme. These prerequisites depend on your application category.

Evidence of an adequate command of the language(s) of instruction (German and/or English) is also required before the begin of studies.

2. Application

The application consists of two parts. Fiil in the online form first, and subsequently send a printout of this form together with all necessary documents by letter.

3. Next steps

Your application will be evaluated in the admission procedure, you will then receive a decision in writing (see application schedule). To accept your study place, send your registration to the Admissions Office.

Students are expected to complete the entire Master\'s degree programme at ETH Zurich. There are tight restrictions on recognition of previous study achievements (credit transfer).
